Terminology:
- “Cut to ground level” – The stump will be cut as low as reasonably possible without damaging equipment. The stump/cut will not be flush with the ground and is usually left around 3-4 cm.
- “Stump grinding/removal” – Stump grinding refers to the use of a stump grinder that turns the stump into grindings/mulch, which is left on-site. This is done to an average depth of 200-400 mm and does not include roots unless otherwise agreed.
- “Cut to firewood” – Refers to larger diameter logs and stems cut to 300-400 mm lengths and smaller diameter stems cut to manageable lengths. Splitting is not included. All wood is left in the immediate vicinity of the tree/work site. Moving any wood will incur extra fees.
By accepting this quote, the client agrees to abide by the terms and conditions outlined above.
